Stones and Mustard Gas

Between Auschwitz and "The Lottery", moral values just decided to skyrocket out the front window. Hitler's dictatorship and the irrefutable stoning event closely tie in with eachother. "The Lottery" seemed to portray itself to me as a small Jewish village who was strongly afraid of Nazi Germany and was selecting the "special" few who would be taken by Hitler.
